Nourish your respiratory health by cooking with Balloon Flower

Balloon Flower, or Platycodon grandiflorus, is a perennial flowering plant that is edible root to petal. Used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to nourish and balance the lung meridian and chi, Balloon Flower is beneficial for supporting and treating hypotension (low blood pressure), inflammation, coughing, chest congestion, sore throat, tonsillitis, and reducing excess phlegm.

Balloon Flower is grown and harvested at GP headquarters, also known as Fall Brook Farms. Watch us cook up some of the roots on the latest YouTube episode using a Korean-inspired flavor profile for a delicious, healthful snack.
