From Hibernation to Renovation

From Hibernation to Renovation

Heyyyy,

It's been a while and I'd like to say, welcome back to our regularly scheduled programming - sort of.

Last year, things got a little stuffy for my taste, and it sent me into a hibernation of sorts. I like to comfort myself by saying I copied the natural schedule of the farm and its seasons.

During Winter time on the farm, many of the plants and animals patiently wait out the cold and snow, while concurrently I spent it quietly planning, organizing, and recuperating. Consider it the germination phase, if you will.

Personally, I find comeback announcements insufferable, so think of this more as observing a seedling - a plant beginning to emerge, popping its head out of the ground to say, "what's good?"

Speaking of annoying announcements, we have a new IG

I had some beef with Zuck last year and with the major changes to my lifestyle that occurred last summer, I figured it was time to bring GP into the here and now of small town living.

There's something I'm literally jumping out of my seat to share with you. I'm renovating a historic homestead into my dream home (AH!!!) which will also serve as the site of GP's wellbeauty events.

What do I mean by WellBeauty events, you ask?

Great question.

This summer, I'm bringing together experts in herbalism, yoga, pilates, sound baths, meditation, and massage therapy along with facialists, reiki and acupuncture healers for a series of WELLBEAUTY events in my own backyard.

Think secret garden meets Martha Stewart meets wellness retreat.

Check out my wellbeauty events mood board🧘‍♂️🌺🌸🌼💆‍♀️

A vibrant collage featuring elements of holistic wellness, self-care, and nature. The images include massage therapy, acupuncture, cupping therapy, crystal healing, aromatherapy, and a sound bath. There are serene garden scenes with cozy seating areas, floral arrangements, and outdoor relaxation spaces. A woman is seen applying a skincare product, and various wellness products are displayed. The background is filled with lush greenery and blooming flowers, evoking a sense of tranquility and rejuvenation.

Ooo, ahhhh

I've also been hard at work preparing for the re-opening of The littlest Apothecary located on the edge of the farm, which will be the site of GP's primary retail location.

Last year's urban exodus was a big transition to bring myself and GP home. It was such a grounding, life-changing move and honestly reminded me who TF I am, and why I built GP in the first place.

This year I'm diving further into small town life, sharing how it has healed my nervous system and given me fulfillment and purpose.

Between farm shenanigans, building a retail business, small town antics, homestead renovations, and wellbeauty events, I hope you'll find something that resonates.
